How do I list my gig on Amplify.Sydney?

Create an account by using the ADD YOUR LISTING or SIGN IN .

Does it cost anything to list my gig?

No, it’s completely FREE to list your gig.

Is there a limit as to how many gigs I can list?

No, you can list as many gigs as you want, but it’s up to you to keep your account up to date in
case there are any changes that need to be made – like a postponement, change in time or venue.

How do I become one of the featured gigs on the home page?

We regularly review what’s on and try to highlight new gigs each week that we think the public
should know about .

How do I get included in the weekly newsletter?

We check out each genre and the different regions and include new highlights for each weekly.

How long does it take before my listing is live?

We review the new gigs every day – just to make sure the content is appropriate, so it could take
up to 24 hours but we will do our best to get your gig live even sooner.

My gig dates have changed, what do I do?

Log in and make the changes.
I have an urgent update and can’t wait 24 hours.
Make the required changes and let us know on [email protected] or contact us on our facebook page via messenger. We’ll make it a priority.

How long does my listing last?

You set the expiry date when setting up the listing. Make sure that you set the expiry for the next
calendar day after your last gig.

I would like to advertise.

Some of the details in the listing are wrong

Venues, musicians and PR professionals are responsible for listings. If a mistake has been made, we
apologise for any errors and do try to check details for inconsistencies but need to rely on the
accuracy of the information we are presented with. Feel free to contact us but you are probably
better to contact the venue (or other) first to check.

My genre isn’t listed.

We have tried to include as many genres as possible. Contact us on
[email protected] and we will look at it including your genre in our listings.

My location isn’t listed.

We cover Greater Sydney, the Blue Mountains, Hunter Valley, the Central Coast, Newcastle and
Wollongong. If you wish to attend or post an event in an area that could cover a couple of regions
(eg. Sydney CBD & Inner East & Eastern Suburbs) then include both in your listing or search.

My style of music covers a couple of genres

How do I see what’s on in my area?

Use the location dropdown. All our gigs are sorted into regions in and around Sydney, including Newcastle,
Wollongong, the Central Coast, Hunter Valley and Blue Mountains.

I’m not sure what to search for

You can search by date, genre, location, venue, band or the name of the tour – you can use just
one of these searches or all of them for more options.

The dates and venues on your website are different to what is being sold when I go through
to the ticketseller.

We apologise for any errors but please understand the pandemic has meant that a lot of gigs have
had to be postponed or venues have had to be changed. The details were correct when listed. We
are relying on our venues and musicians to keep you all up to date.?
