Ruby Archer is an 18 year old singer songwriter from the NSW Central Coast who creates angry, jazzy rock with feminist undertones and husky vocals. Her debut EP chamomile tea attracted several song writing awards and after putting together a band of like-minded musicians, Ruby and the Groovy Doobies won first prize in YouthRock 2022. She was included in the 2023 triple J Unearthed High Yearbook as the artist most likely to invent an entirely new chord, and was also featured in the half hour documentary Music Central about the power of music to create connection and healing on the NSW Central Coast.
