Description

Welcome to the second annual A Street Party Named Fitz, a jubilant celebration of community, creativity, and camaraderie, all in support of the iconic Old Fitz Theatre — the last pub theatre standing in Australia!

On this vibrant Sunday, the historic streets of Woolloomooloo will come alive with the sights, sounds, and flavours of a neighbourhood coming together for a cause. A true festival of the Inner East, this family-friendly daytime event fuses live entertainment, food stalls serving classics from The Old Fitz as well as delectable bites and refreshing sips from festival partners Young HenrysMapo, and Heaps Normal.

Groove to an electrifying lineup featuring alt-rock outfit The Buoys, dance along with Murray Cook’s Soul Movers, and soak in the spins of Elliott Hammond (Delta Riggs, Dope Lemon). For the young and young-at-heart, marvel at the antics of the roving clown, Mr. Gorski, plus face painting, balloon clowns, and theatre and burlesque performances.

Bring the kids, the neighbours, and your theatre-loving friends for a day of revelry and fundraising, ensuring the Old Fitz Theatre remains a cornerstone of Sydney’s arts community.
