Sydney-based metal powerhouse Bare Bones are gearing up to shake the foundations of the heavy music scene once again with their explosive new self-titled EP, out Oct 27, and are embarking on a four-date tour to celebrate! Featuring latest single “Cross Complex”, the relentless new EP is the band’s first collection of music since their critically acclaimed 2019 LP, “Rival Minds.”
Bare Bones has always pushed the boundaries of their genre, and the new material is a testament to their evolution and growth as a band.
Since their inception, Bare Bones has delivered two EPs and two full-length records, “Bad Habits” (2017) and “Rival Minds” (2019), with both full-length albums released through iconic Australian label Resist Records. However, the upcoming EP will see the band return to their DIY roots as they take on the role of self-releasing.
The band has teamed up with Newcastle shredders Vilify AU for a FREE hometown show at The Duke of Enmore, Fri Nov 24, 2023. With support from local heavyweights Aurateque and Engraved.
This event will be in collaboration with Great Southern Nights – a celebration of live music and will feature a taster series of performances across Enmore, Marrickville, Newtown, Parramatta and Penrith for ten nights from 16-25 November 2023 ahead of a full program in March 2024. NSW Government through Destination NSW and in partnership with ARIA, aims to stimulate the live music, entertainment and hospitality sectors through a line up of live gigs from household-names, emerging talent and grassroots local acts across key NSW districts.
