Benny Elder & Ella Hartwig NSW Tour (Sydney Show)

past event

Description

Join singer/song-writers Ella Hartwig and Benny Elder for their NSW leg of their tour! Stopping over in Sydney, the Queensland co-headliners, alongside Steph Wood, are celebrating the release of new music with a country/folk essence.

Benny Elder spent his days in the mines and his nights with a guitar and a dream. A mechanical engineer by trade but a storyteller by heart.
At 12 years old he discovered his love for music when gifted Blink 182’s self-titled album, however it wasn’t until ten years later he would begin crafting his own songwriting; taking influence from Blink 182 as well as artists like Passenger, Bob Dylan, Chris Stapleton, Machine Gun Kelly, John Mayer, Ed Sheeran & Luke Combs.

Cape York’s singer/songwriter Ella Hartwig blends her folk roots with a hint of country and a twist of pop. Hailing from Cooktown, Far North Queensland (Australia), Ella’s musical journey began at a young age. Internationally acknowledged for her songwriting skills, Ella has garnered significant recognition, including two Queensland Music Award Nominations for songs that she wrote at age thirteen.
Ella’s distinctive sound, often likened to early Missy Higgins, Taylor Swift and Melissa Etheridge reflects her diverse musical influences, including Matchbox Twenty, Paul Kelly, Vance Joy and Sam Fender. However, it is Ella’s unique style and heartfelt lyrics that truly sets her apart, allowing her music to connect with audiences on a deeper level.
