Buddy Dingo is just one bloke having a go! He’s a short and scruffy looking human that is found mostly in a pair of ruggers, his old work boots and a favourite shirt and hat combo. He resides in the quiet and beautiful town of Tangambalanga in North East Victoria.
He creates his own brand of small town and suburban folk rock with his electric guitar and signature wise, laconic drawl to tell fun stories with strong themes of nostalgic Australiana, with an emphasis on his favourite everyday things like his Ute, his lawn mower, his backyard and all things cricket, footy and golf.
He has recently released his song ‘Parramatta Man’ on Sydney’s Stable Label. A song he first put together as a bedroom demo recording back in 2014.
“Buddy Dingo is one of the most playful, charismatic, down-to-earth songwriter’s you’ll meet, whose songs often dwell on the simple town-living things in life, like loving your backyard and driving your ute. Often rocking the work boots and footy shorts, there’s no shortage of smiles and joyful laughs during his sets.” – Beniah Colbourn, Homegrown Sounds, Triple J Unearthed Super User
Joining him on the night will be amazing acts T.Wilds (Katoomba) and Oakie Doke (Wollongong).
