As an indie-pop artist, her songs feature gentle melodies, focusing on lyrics that draw from her past and the experiences of those around her, aiming to connect with her listeners through commonalities. Musically inspired by the likes of Adele, Eva Cassidy and Taylor Swift’s early music, cate uses songwriting as a means of storytelling, hoping to help others through their own experiences.
