COREY LEGGE ‘MOMENT IN THE SUN’ ALBUM LAUNCH

Bega-born, Wollongong-based singer-songwriter COREY LEGGE will be launching his highly-anticipated 4th studio album ‘Moment in the Sun’ at Butchers Brew Bar with his 3-piece band, consisting of Adrian ‘Red’ Herbert on drums, Matt Crawford on bass & Corey on guitar & vocals.

Performing a unique mix of blues, rock & alt-country, Corey will be showcasing the songs off his new album & a handful of unique covers. Recently described by Ash Grunwald as a ‘’phenomenal guitarist with a great voice’’, Corey was just announced as the winner of ‘Most Popular Musician/Instrumentalist’ in the 2024 Australian Country Music People’s Choice Awards in Tamworth.

Corey has also been described by ABC Country as a ‘’national treasure in the making’’ & has been taking the blues festival circuit by storm with stand-out performances at Echuca-Moama Winter Blues Festival (VIC) & Blues at Bridgetown (WA).

Opening the show will be the amazing duo CALIKO. Hailing from the NSW South Coast, Caliko formed out of a connection through their passion for songwriting & harmonies.  Their musical chemistry is palpable, with Ness Quinn on acoustic with her angelic vocals & Paul Greene on baritone adding stunning texture & harmonies that sonically belies the sum of their parts.
