DOUBLE BILL: Icarus + Justin Yeo Quartet

ICARUS – 8:30 pm:

Icarus is a band of young, up & coming musicians currently studying at the prestigious Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
Collectively, they’ve been fortunate to have been under the tutelage of local jazz luminaries.

Icarus will explore the sounds of artists such as Brad Mehldau & Chick Corea.

JUSTIN YEO QUARTET – 9:40 pm:

Justin Yeo is a young emerging saxophonist with a unique lyrical voice, inspired by a wide range of artists across the jazz lineage.

His group will perform a combination of original compositions along with his own arrangements of classic Jazz standards.
