ELIZA & THE DELUSIONALS announce co-headline Australian tour with THE BUOYS
March – April tour dates presented by triple j

Fresh off the back of their Rolling Stone Australia Award nomination for ‘Best New Artist’, Eliza & The Delusionals today announce an extensive East Coast tour with fellow breakout artists, The Buoys.

Presented by triple j, this special co-headline tour will take the bands through Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland from March through into April, showcasing electrifying live shows and serving up a timely reminder why both acts have been taking audiences nationwide by storm.

The Buoys’ emergence onto the radars of many more new fans in 2021 – with the release of third EP Unsolicited Advice for Your DIY Disaster – set the Sydney rock group as a name that could not be ignored. Landing on triple j’s Hottest 100 of 2021 with their single ‘Lie To Me Again’ (#85), it was a formative time for the Sydneysiders, that has been capitalised on beautifully as they grew into 2022.

The release of their dynamic track ‘Red Flags’, proved that the hype surrounding them was more than legit. Lucrative support slots for the likes of Wet LegArctic Monkeys and Dandy Warhols have brought The Buoys widespread acclaim, further driving the band to make 2023 their biggest year yet.

Similarly, 2022 was a pivotal year for Eliza & The Delusionals, with the indie rock favourites releasing their long awaited debut album, NOW & THEN. On the live front, the album was brought to life beautifully across numerous shows dotted along the East Coast, proving the group’s reputation as one of Australia’s most formidable and important live bands.

The group’s return to international touring in 2022 saw Eliza & The Delusionals tour North America, both as headliners and supporting the iconic Silversun Pickups; a monumental period for the band, who had been building up to bringing NOW & THEN to international audiences ever since they began working on the record during the depths of Australian lockdown.

Coming together for this co-headline run down the East Coast is a coup for both groups, who froth each other’s music as fans, as much as they do as musical peers.
