Genie Loci

Genie Loci (Gee-Nee Low-Kai) is a Mulubinba/Newcastle based alt/psych rock band. Two vocalists create brooding ballads and high energy grooves around powerful guitar motifs. Genie Loci explores a wide variety of sounds and emotions in their work and on stage. They proudly sport the stripes earned on Newcastle’s bubbling music scene and are brining their wild sound to stages along the east coast. Their ‘Shake The Dust’ EP tour showcases the combining of the bands’ reflective and expressive sides together in a dynamic, angsty and powerful sound.
Can heartbreak be sexy? TR|N|TY is the product of a love affair between Pop and Punk, who was then raised by their Auntie Indie. With her merry band of $luts by her side she confronts the gauntlet of life and creates gloomy-angst-existential-pop, that your Grandparents (probably) won’t like.
