Joseph Tawadros Quartet Live in Concert

Six time ARIA Award winning Tawadros brothers arent afraid to try new things. Challenging traditional musical forms and pushing boundaries, they bring an exciting performing dynamic to the stage.

The Tawadros brothers are from a musical family and were brought up in environment which encouraged music and individuality. They are recognised worldwide and have performed in some of the world’s most prestigious venues with celebrated artists such as Roy Ayers, Bela Fleck, Richard Bona, Zakir Hussain, John Abercrombie, John Patitucci, Jack DeJohnette, the BBC Symphony Orchestra, Joey DeFrancesco, Richard Tognetti and the Australian Chamber Orchestra, Sultan Khan, the Academy of Ancient Music, the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and Camerata Salzburg to name a few.

They have recorded 13 albums and been nominated a record 15 times in the ARIA Awards, winning a hat-trick in 2012, 2013 and 2014. Joined with the amazing Matt McMahon on Piano, Together they perform the original music of Joseph Tawadros. Josephs Middle Eastern flavoured compositions constantly push the boundaries of melody and metre and are a rare combination of highly emotional music intertwined with boundless energy. True musicianship of the highest degree.
