Combining the simplistic tradition of folk with the complexity of contemporary lyricism, ‘Picaro’ sings of change & childhood, love & loss, along with all of young life’s fears & frustrations.

Growing up in Sydney’s inner west, 19 year old, Aidan Beardmore began writing songs from an early age with his musical inspirations drawn from Country Blues, Indie Folk & Americana, appreciating the poetic sensitivity of such artists as Bob Dylan & Townes Van Zandt.
