Description
Homegrown Concert Series at Tallawoladah Lawn (in front of the MCA) – a celebration of local Australian music, where you can lounge on the grass and sing along to your favourite songs, including a few unique renditions of Christmas classics.
Pixie (3:30pm-4:15pm)
In just the span of less than a year, Pixie has quickly risen through the ranks of the Australian music scene to support the likes of Ash Grunwald, Josh Pyke, Kyle Lionhart, Harrison Storm and many more. From her beautiful songwriting, heartfelt lyrics and angelic voice, Pixie is a performer you only need to see once to understand what the hype is about.
Surely Shirley (4:30pm-5:15pm)
Hailing from the South Coast of New South Wales, Surely Shirley is a duo comprising of two sisters Jenaya and Anisha. Surely Shirley’s music is a delightful fusion of tropical doo-wop and 60s ballads, infused with pop and indie elements. Their sound is characterised by enchanting harmonies, feel-good rhythms, and a touch of nostalgia that transports listeners to a different era.
Wallace (5:30pm-6:30pm)
Wallace is a refreshing talent, whose music is a mosaic of jazz, hip-hop and soul. Her trademark jazz-influenced, soulful vocal and magnetic presence are a marker of a dynamic artist who vibrantly creates music which showcases her absorbing vocals and clever songwriting. Her lyrics are often influenced by literature, evident through the intricate wordplay she weaves to create poignant stories.
