Come and watch the talented young students of the Open Academy’s Rising Stars at the Con program, supported and accompanied by professional associate artists, in our free Saturday concert series.

If you’d like to help inspire a child who is learning music, get an idea of what the program is like, or simply see our Stars in action, this is a great opportunity to do so! The concerts are free and run for about an hour in our state-of-the-art venues at the Conservatorium on Saturdays during school term.

The Open Academy’s Rising Stars at the Con is a dynamic performance-based music education program for school-aged students. Supported by the Conservatorium faculty, Rising Stars is a vibrant program where we strive to identify talent at an early age to establish a constructive foundation for a lifetime of musical achievement. Individual instrumental lessons, group music Skills classes, and regular performance opportunities are the basis of the Rising Stars program and these components facilitate our students to become well-educated and confident musicians.
