Sam Newton – Country-folk songwriter Sam Newton has clearly studied the greats, listening to & learning the meticulous craft of combining words & melody, mood & emotion, with raw & poetic honesty.
Newton is now three albums & a handful of singles deep into his career. Since the release of his first EP nearly a decade ago, he’s played a plethora of shows through NSW, QLD & VIC – in bars, pubs & festival stages (Dashville Skyline, Tamworth Country Music Festival, Bendigo Blues & Roots Festival, Newtown Festival, Cully Fest) & been featured in Rhythms magazine (Nov/ Dec 2016), Australia’s leading roots music print publication.
Sam’s latest single ‘Burning Bridges’ was released in April 2021r.
Liam Gale – Songwriter/ performer Liam Gale sings about life in the city, love & sex, Catholic guilt & general melodrama. Fuzzed out guitars wrestle with what wants to be a funk rhythm section in a live set that stumbles from surf-country to almost reggae to straight up blues rock.
Tense, dense & moody, Liam Gale’s music presents a syrupy take on the blues
Liam’s latest album, ‘The Desire Lines’, was released in 2020.
