Australia’s best-loved pianist, Simon Tedeschi, returns with violist and conductor Roger Benedict, to present a concert of evocative French music for viola and piano.

With Debussy’s kaleidoscopic cello sonata, Ravel’s rarely played early violin sonata, as well as solo Debussy piano miniatures performed by Simon, the program also features Ravel’s Habanera and brooding Kaddisch, a Jewish prayer.

Join us for an evening of lyrical, whimsical and deeply felt French music, from Simon and Roger’s forthcoming new album to be released later this year, as a follow up to their acclaimed first collaborative album, A Winter’s Tale (ABC Classics).
