Intimate music and stories, raucous dance and song, all in a heritage village set on a starlit river. The annual St Albans Folk Festival hosts a wide range of musicians, dancers and singers who perform traditional and contemporary folk music, Australian bush music and poetry. Join in at music and dance sessions and workshops, or simply stay up late at the iconic Settlers Arms Inn pub. A truly friendly festival, St Albans welcomes patrons of all ages, including the kids! Special activities and workshops are scheduled just for children. The Festival market showcases local food, produce and instrument makers. An easy day-trip from Sydney or a three day camp on the banks of the McDonald River.
St. Albans is 20 kms from Wisemans Ferry in the beautiful Hawkesbury River area, North of Sydney and West of Gosford.
The village has one of the oldest pubs in Australia, the Settlers Arms. It’s a beautiful place that comes alive at festival time with music, colour and good times. The perfect place to spend 3 days and forget about the rest of the world. leaving you refreshed and inspired.
