SUBSTANCE is a 5-piece alternative New Wave covers band playing an entertaining mix of songs from the late 70s and early 80s. Playing the music of Joy Division, The Cure, Blondie, Elvis Costello, The Smiths, Police, B-52s and many more classic bands of the era. Substance is guaranteed to get the audience up and dancing every time.

1978 is a band that takes its inspiration from the UK, US and Australian Punk and New Wave scene of the late 70’s. Names like The Clash, The Damned and The Ramones provide the inspiration and it’s all about a high energy, enthusiastic, almost naive approach that mirrors the bands and sounds of that time. It’s a lot of fun.
