Symphony Spectacular Inside/Out at the House
Description
Celebrating 50 years of great music at The House
Join the Sydney Symphony for a celebration of the music which has moved and inspired Sydneysiders for half a century. From the very first performance in the Concert Hall in 1973 to today, the Sydney Symphony has been at the centre of the biggest moments in the history of this iconic building.
As part of Inside/Out at the House, the Sydney Symphony brings you some of these history-making moments featuring unforgettable music by Smetana, Wagner, Ross Edwards and many other great composers.
And to make sure everyone can join in the celebrations, tickets are only $20 in the recently reopened Concert Hall, or $10 to sit under the stars on the Sydney Opera House steps.
Presented by ABC Classic’s Genevieve Lang and conducted by Umberto Clerici.
