“They play to you one-on-one, The Bancrofts. As if the whole show is just for you, intimately, sensually, welcome to the ‘in-crowd-ily’ special. And then you realise you’re sitting in a packed (to capacity) room with everyone else feeling exactly the same way. The ‘in-crowd’ is everyone; but still you (so don’t feel jilted).
I would describe them as unabashedly hedonistic. A rare sparkling gem found in the middle of rock. Flirty but comforting. Transparent but mysterious. A musical spiegaltent of instrumental gifts laced with gilded lyrics delivered by a spiritual being that shifts resonance from heart to mind in the blink of an eye.”
– Charlotte Rose Graham, The Music Producer
The Polymics are a 5-piece rock’n’soul band with a twista spirit and heavy vibe. Raging guitar solos and loud drums are accompanied by euphoric and soulful vocals and story driven lyrics. Starring the incredible Bella Pereira (vocals), Asher (guitar), Lu Z (guitar), Jordan Mitchley (bass) and Jack Bevan (drums), each individual instrument compliments each other in a sweet yet hefty way. The Polymics have rocked venues such as Oxford Art Factory, Factory Theatre, Chippo Hotel, Duke of Enmore and many more venues. Don’t miss out on this young, unique, grungey, passionate, elated act from Sydney.
Euterpe are 4-piece anxiety rock unit hailing from the Inner West, with a chaotic sound held together by a shared love for the sort of music that sounds like early symptoms of a stroke.
Formed in 2021, the band’s engagement with the Sydney music scene has seen them established as mainstays, with sights set on ventures into other Australian cities and beyond. Stay keen, they’ve got plans.
