The Hummingbirds – Choirs in the Courtyard

‘The Hummingbirds’ are a newly formed performance choir drawn from the network of Hummingsong Choirs across Sydney. Officially launched just last month, this smaller group of 30 singers are able to perform in smaller venues and at community events like weddings and funerals. Performing at Gasoline Pony as part of the Choirs in the Courtyard series, Apart from the performance, audience members will be invited to learn a new song in 4 parts and join the choir in song.
The Hummingsong choirs perform in a wide range of styles and offer women an opportunity to sing for fun and nourish their souls. There are many hundreds of members situated across Sydney, the Central Coast, Newcastle & Melbourne. The founders and members of Hummingsong are committed to raising awareness, support and funds for services that support women and children escaping domestic violence.
