The Album Show presents the music of the iconic supergroup THE TRAVELLING WILBURYS, as well as performing selections from the songwriting catalogues of Wilbury icons, Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison, George Harrison, Jeff Lynne and Tom Petty. The Travelling Wilburys are a unique and important chapter in the evolution of classic pop. Formed in the mid 80’s and flying in the face of the fashion of the synth driven pop of the time, it embraced the talents of these important artist whose careers dated back to the 50’s to create a body of work that resonated with the public and some would say helped change the direction of pop to a more organic style leading into the 90’s, and beyond.

The show brings together a top level lineup of versatile singers and multi-instrumentalists to represent the significant body of work represented by The Wilburys, together and alone. The repertoire will draw on tracks the Wilburys recorded for their 2 albums, as well as some special bonus tracks recorded during their time together. It will also draw on the solo hits, as well as material from Harrison’s “Beatles Years”, Lynne’s time with ELO and Petty’s catalogue with and without The Heartbreaker.

With striking visuals and a setlist as good as any you’ll ever hear, this tribute to one of the greatest supergroups ever promises to be a night to remember!!
