Transmission Festival acknowledges the Wangal people as the first Custodians of the land on which our event is held. For thousands of years, the area now known today as Sydney Olympic Park, has been the meeting place for many Indigenous nations. We recognise their ever growing connection to the land, waters, culture and community- and offer respect and thanks to Elders, past, present and emerging for their continued care of the land we perform on and the gifts it continues to provide.
